We are looking for you to join our team in the IT Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a Security Engineer (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Your role in the Wolfpack:
Operate, maintain, and optimize a range of security platforms, including:
Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including runbooks, playbooks, and architecture diagrams.
Stay informed on threat intelligence and industry trends to proactively identify and mitigate emerging risks.
Support internal and external audits, compliance initiatives, and enterprise risk assessments.
- CrowdStrike Falcon (EDR/XDR)
- Tenable (Vulnerability Management)
- Cisco Umbrella (DNS-layer Protection)
- Zscaler ZIA/ZPA (Cloud Security)
- Darktrace (AI-driven Threat Detection)
- Threat hunting and incident response
- Vulnerability scanning and coordination of remediation efforts
- Policy tuning and rule optimization
- Security automation and tool integration
Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including runbooks, playbooks, and architecture diagrams.
Stay informed on threat intelligence and industry trends to proactively identify and mitigate emerging risks.
Support internal and external audits, compliance initiatives, and enterprise risk assessments.
What you bring:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations.
Proven hands-on expertise with:
Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and log analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven hands-on expertise with:
- CrowdStrike Falcon or comparable EDR/XDR platforms
- Tenable.io or Tenable.sc for vulnerability management
- Cisco Umbrella and DNS security solutions
- Zscaler cloud security services (ZIA/ZPA)
- Darktrace or similar AI-driven threat detection platforms
Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and log analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
